Postcode Planet Trust operates its own society lottery and is entirely funded by the players of People’s Postcode Lottery. As more players join People's Postcode Lottery, more funds are distributed to Postcode Planet Trust and made available for the Trust to award to good causes. How is the Trust regulated?
Postcode Planet Trust is a charity registered in Scotland (SC044847) and is a company limited by guarantee (SC476386). Postcode Planet Trust operates its own society lottery and is regulated by the Gambling Commission under certificate 000-037736-N-318505 and 000-037736-R-318504.
How do I apply for funding from the Trust?
Postcode Planet Trust is unable to consider unsolicited applications as it operates on a closed application basis. Postcode Planet Trust is proactive in approaching charities and, as funds become available, will thoroughly research and select potential beneficiaries.
Which charities and good causes has the Trust funded?
Since Postcode Planet Trust was established in 2014, it has provided funding to and supported the following charities: African Parks, APOPO, Canal & River Trust, Fauna & Flora International, Peace Parks Foundation, Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts, WaterAid, WWF and Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust. All decisions regarding funding are made by Postcode Planet Trust’s Trustees.
I have been awarded a grant - what next?
